Snapshot Sunday: From Night to Day
Happy Sunday, friends.
Usually I post a recipe on Sunday nights, but unfortunately that means that my Sunday days are spent in the kitchen and on the computer, and aren’t spent riding bikes, drawing on sidewalks with chalk or painting the pears on our trees blue.
So in attempt to recapture my Sundays as a day of rest (and preventing more drive-by fruit graffiti), I’m going to start posting Snapshot Sundays!
And if you want to join me you can.
If you have a blog, take a break! Cut yourself some slack on Sunday and save your witty banter and delicious recipes for the week. Post your favorite Instagram pic or a random shot from your day or week to your blog. Then come link up your Snapshot Sunday post in the comments’ section of our post. Or, if you don’t have a blog but simply want to share a pic from your Instagram, Flickr or other feed, go ahead and link your shot up in the comments. We want to see your snapshot too!
Don’t we all deserve a day of rest?
Yes. Yes, we do. (Please take note, my little pear artists.)
This doesn’t mean I’ll be posting less, I’m just pushing my recipes forward in the week. And I’ll give you a heads up on Sundays as to what ingredient(s) you’ll want for the coming recipe.
Tomorrow’s ingredient: eggplant.
I know. I scarcely believe it myself.
But onto today’s snapshot. Somehow, during our school shopping outing yesterday, a $5 Angry Birds t-shirt ended up in our purchases. And as our pajamas. And as this morning’s proposed church attire.
You’ve got to pick your battles. And the God I want the girls to know is a God who is totally cool with wearing licensed merchandise pajama tops to worship.
So here’s a little fashion spread I like to call, “From Night to Day.”
Fashion crisis averted.
Now if someone could just tell me how to get blue paint out of white cardigans.
