I must love you all a lot.

It is nearly midnight and here I am like a lunatic posting because I operate under the illusion that somehow you won’t survive your Thursday morning without a new post from me.  I have my excuses, but hopefully I can reserve those for a later date.  Right now, let’s just feel the love.

Like the love that fills my heart when I think about what Katie of Chocolate Covered Katie is doing, donating all of her blog income from the month to help others in need through “Operation Chocolate Covered Kindness“.  All you have to do is click one or all of those three links above and you’ll be donating to others, while getting some crazy good recipes and healthy living tips.  Short of having sniffed too much glue, why wouldn’t you?

Love was NOT filling my heart at 4 a.m. this morning.  “Mahhmeee, mahhmeee?!  Where are YOU?!  I’m stuck in my crib.”

Thanks Lulu.  I put you there, and I’d like you to stay stuck for at least another three hours.  But I was the good mommy and huddled in her rocking chair with her tiny baby crib comforter to keep me warm.  We were NOT happy campers this morning.

I believe she is trying to flip me off here.

I definitely gave her the stink eye before my workout.

Gigi was rather zen about the whole ordeal, choosing to do yoga instead.  She narrated her own poses.

Moth!” (she corrected my “Butterfly” description)

Downward Dog” (even a blind squirrel gets a nut sometimes)

Cat” (Meowing is optional)

Pegasus” (Shocking, no?)

Unicorn” (duh)

After our grueling workouts, I had a lovely little breakfast with my near empty almond butter jar.

Since it is late here, I’m going to just share one meal today, in true Chocolate Covered Katie fashion.  You might recall her Chocolate Covered Meals of the Day.  I’d call this my Pea Covered Meal of the Day, but that hits a little too close to home.

Step 1:  Regret that you didn’t reserve more almond butter in the jar.

Step 2:  Add sliced apple, stevia and cinnamon.  Microwave for 1 minute.

Step 3:  Cover in Kashi Go Lean and Pumpkin Spice Granola.

Lovely.

I was a busy little woman all day, but the girls and I managed to make it to the carousel for a birthday party.

They enjoyed every bite of their cupcakes…

…watching the birthday girl blow out the candles…

…and riding on horses that closely resemble yoga poses.

The other highlight of our evening was when Chris  received a package in a large box in the mail.  The situation was ripe with humor, and Gigi set me up flawlessly.

“Daddy, you’ve got a big package!!!”

“Hey Daddy, do you know any package jokes?”  To which I replied, “I could make a lot of jokes about Daddy’s package.”

“Daddy’s package is getting away.”

Unfortunately, that is true…and I think it’s far too late for me to catch it.  Good night.
