Thanks for the site love! That is an old recipe that I've been meaning to make again...you just inspired me. :) If you can't find whole wheat pastry flour, you can use a 50/50 blend of regular whole wheat flour and all purpose flour. Just don't use all whole wheat or your rolls will be heavy and dense. Good luck!

Oh man. Providence (by way of google) led me to your site and I believe that these rolls are exactly what I need right this second. (As for the rest of your recipes - I think I see a Peas and Thank You book in my near future!) But I have a problem. I'm in the UK and I don't think we have such a thing as pastry flour over here. Do you think plain (all purpose) wholewheat flour would ruin the recipe altogether? Or is there a different substitute I should try?
Thank you so much!

[...] The Vegan Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls were every single bit as good as they sound…on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday… They started out looking pretty hideous, mostly because every single ingredient I had to add was measured in the wrong quantities (teaspoons turned into cups, tablespoons to a splash, icing into filling, it was an epic fail on my end- you will see the melted “butter” spread nastily sitting on top since I forgot to actually mix it into either the dough or the filling. darn) Disgusting attempt at cinnamon rolls [...]
